My ex other half is selling her Mkii MR2, she has owned the car for 10 years and is a reluctant sale on her part:(, she's bought a mkiii Mr2 and this needs to go.
The car is a H reg (1990) 2lt GT and is an import, the car is green in colour, but you would think it's blue. She bought the car as standard and proceeded to fit a veilside replica kit with double blade alloy spoiler, had it lowered and fitted 17" alloys.
It has a full leather interiour, A/C, climate control, cruise control and has a yellow and black themed interiour with yellow 4-point harnesses.
The car has been declared sorn for 2 years but is still MOTed every year, the current MOT expires June 2011.
When it was last MOTed the mechanic said the underside was still solid.

Bad bits...
The car is 20 years old and therefore some blisters starting to show on wheelarches and back quarter but nothing too bad.

She is looking for offers around £1400 ono.

I bought the car just over 3 years ago with an RB20DET engine and gearbox. I ran it for a while at this spec, but the head gasket and a piston ring went when I was in Croatia on a European rally. I decided at this point to go for an RB25 conversion.

The car currently runs 440BHP / 360lb/ft on the wastegate spring (boost controller turned off), and 457BHP / 390lb/ft on the Profec B boost controller. As you can imagine the car is very quick! It's also very loud, but for track days there is a removable pipe that can be fitted to route the screamer pipe into the exhaust to meet noise regulations.

The engine was rebuilt about 2000 miles ago. The turbo was rebuilt by Turbo Dynamics (new GT3076 core at a cost of £800, as the previous owner of the turbo had run it without water cooling!!) about 2000 miles ago. The synchros in the gearbox weren't very good so the gearbox is currently being fully rebuilt with all new synchros (1st to 5th), new 3rd and 4th synchro hub, new surge valve and new seals and bearings.

The car has an indicated 86000Km on the clock. Very approximately 20000 of these are miles, although since most of the stuff on the car is new or rebuilt this figure doesn't really mean anything. I guess the chassis has around 60000 miles on it.

The car has been in an 8 page article in Practical Performance Car magazine as a model for a buying guide for the R32 GTSt.
The car was one of the months in last year's SkylineOwners.com calender.
The car is used on the official SkylineOwners.com flyer this year.

A copy of each of the above items is included in the sale as part of the car's history, including full resolution (5000x4000!) images from the Practical Performance Car photoshoot. I also have loads of other pictures of the car I am happy to chuck on a CD for the next owner if required.

The car was keyed a while ago - a smiley face was drawn on the driver's side rear quarter and 'I like your car' was etched into the drivers door. Nice. I had the whole side resprayed about 4 months ago so the driver's side paint is nearly brand new. The paint on the rest of the car is good, especially considering the car is 20 years old! There are no scratches, dings or dents anywhere and the car looks great when it's had a fresh coat of polish. There are the usual stone-chips on the front-end as you would expect of a car that is used daily.

The car is very reliable, gets me to work and back every day without any issues whatsoever.

I have bled the brakes 3 times in 3 years (bear in mind the car was off the road for 18 months while I was doing the RB25 conversion!) to keep them in A1 condition, and the oil and coolant have been changed more times than I can count.

I have thousands of pounds worth of receipts and dyno print-outs proving the power output which will come with the car as part of it's history.

Bad points:

* Whilst the alarm works and the central locking both work, the alarm does not lock the car. To lock and alarm the car you need to lock it with a key and arm the alarm with the fob. Never bothered me enough to try and get it working together but if it bothers you then you may have to do some investigation.
* The speedo reads in KPH. Again this doesn't bother me, but if you want it sorted you can get a mechanical speedo converter that will change this to MPH.

Price: £8500. The turbo, engine, gearbox and a lot of the ancillaries are new or rebuilt, so mechanically the car has thousands and thousands of miles in it.

If I get the asking price I have some spare bits and bobs I've amassed while owning the car that I'll include in the sale, such as 2 part worn (lots of life left) R888's for the rear wheels (good for track days), S15 R200 3.69 ring gear (gives longer gears for higher top speed), HKS EIDS (bought but never needed to fit), 4 ProSport gauges - oil temp, oil pressure, water temp and boost (decided I didn't want to use them), spare standard manifold, standard viscous fan, etc.

My reason for selling it is that I want to buy a drift car. I can't afford to put the skyline in to a wall so I need something cheaper and less nice. If I could afford a drift car too then I'd keep this, but I don't have the cash spare.

If you have something you want to px then try me - I'm looking for a drifter so any kind of 200sx, chaser, etc. The more track prepped the better. No AE86's though thanks!

I brought this as a project because apart from the rear damaged it was a clean car and did not have the typical r33 faults i.e. no rusty strut tops, rusty arches and 110% standard apart from a nice set of 17” deep dish rays alloys which are worth a fair bit on their own anyway!

The car is currently declared sorn by the previous owner, however it does have MOT until 6th November 2010. Mechanically the car seems to be fine, but it could probably do with an oil service as it has been parked up for a couple of months.

It was imported in 2008 and has only done around 1500 miles since import. The mileage on the 1st mot was recorded at 132,000 kilometres which is exactly 82,000 miles, After that the previous owner had the speedo converted to read mph and the clocks are now showing 133,500, therefore the has no more than 83,500 miles on it.


The previous owner attempted a very poor repair job as you can see, however being a skyline enthusiast I was far from happy with this so the plan was to repair the car to its former glory and bag myself a cheap spec 2 skyline.

To repair the car fully all you will need is a new/2nd hand rear panel and to pull out the boot floor slightly. I will provide you with a 2nd hand boot as a replacement.

Please don’t confuse this with the common spec 1 skylines which ebay is flooded with at the moment, this is a late face lift spec 2 example which is quite sought after.

The reason for sale is that I have been offered an older r32 skyline from a friend which I prefer the looks of over the r33’s.

Iv owned this car for just over a year and had big plans for it but my GTR is back soon and its time to part company.

I bought this with various problems and have had it all sorted, except for the bloody alarm. Was working perfectly but now for some reason does not react to the fob. Central locking still works, and immobiliser for works fine. I do have the installation certificate for the alarm so may be able to get it sorted, but i know nothing about them myself.

Had to have a new clutch (F1 racing) due to not being fitted correctly and not selecting gears. Also new master and slave cylinders and all piping to suit. Had entire new brake pipes fitted front and back as well as new brakes for mot.

Car has covered a mixture of KMs and Miles and is showing 130k. I was friends with the guy who imported it and had low mileage when it came over. He had it converted, de-restricted and spared no expense on maintaining it. Unfortunately the first guy he sold it to did nothing with it and let it stand for 2 years.

I have owned 5 of these now and this starts the best, drives the smoothest (although not the quickest) and has the best fuel economy of them all. It handles the road perfectly and feels all round a good solid car to drive.

a real random intermittent tinging noise from underside of car while drivin. can only be a loose mount or something and does not affect the drive in anyway. Local garage and Kwik Fit could not find anthing tho

The sodding alarm which is still arming the immobiliser automatically but is not responding to the remote keyfob. just means manual entry and inserting the fob into the immobiliser socket before starting. Again, may be able to sort hopefully before sale.

I have been 100% honest and there are no hidden things to say, the car is genuine and alot of fun to drive.

Looking for around the 5k mark given the mods. However I am not desperae to sell so no silly offers. Have a little cash sat so may be interested in a part ex either way.

Car description: the car is great, simply put, for the price im asking you really cant be upset,
its got a very long MOT and tax, im pretty sure its up until may next year, will double check tomorrow.
it had new brake calipers done to the front, so the brakes are brilliant on it,
there is a little bit of rust on the rear arches and here and there but nothing that will upset you.

the one issue is the battery keeps dieing but im very sure its just the battery gone, i will look into it more but the battery does seem to be old and used up, other than that there is no issues with the car at all.
