How to install greddy intake manifold RB25DET?

Anyone got a tutorial or guide on how to do it? Just want a little guide while removing my old setup and putting up the new one on the GTT

You got the original GReddy one or cheap ebay copy?

A friend of mine tried to fit the cheap one and it was a total mess...

Not to be cheeky but when people say the copy ones what sort of problems have they had?

I was looking at the plazema group buy now they are good quality units but i dont want to spend too much and also want to have one powder coated to match other bits under the car.

Has anyone used the japspeed one for sale by JDM Garage it looks to be good for me.

http://www.jappartsuk.com/store/prod...=List+Products

Im thinking about purchasing it and fitting it but unsure what is involved will certainly give feedback on it once fitted.

Just feel people are negative about things without themselves owning or trying things.

Just to make one thing clear:

When I was talking about the "cheap copies", I DID NOT mean the Japspeed ones!!!

I would always happily buy parts of Japspeed and fit them to my car, there's no doubt!

A friend of mine bought a CHEAP GReddy copy once, probably one of those XS-Power-China-Whatever-Crap-Thingies and, and he ended up putting the stock one back on as all was just crap.

Have you also taken into consideration the fact that this alters the rooting of your intercooler pipes and that the standard pipes perhaps wont fit anymore, how would you get around this, by fitting a gtr fmic etc. could end up costing quite alot if you have to but a new/replace your fmic.

I would be interested if anyone has fitted one aswell to see what you do to get around the piping issue and if they thought the gain was worth the money.

well i'll have to move the battery to the back to get space, but the piping wont be a problem, i already have a front mount intercooler.

Right now im just completely lost as to what goes where haha, I noticed some things dont have a position in place for the new manifold.
