Rays Engineering wheels

Hows it goin people,

Hopefully someone will be able to help me. The other day i hit one of me Rays engineering wheels or a kerb. The rim is damaged beyond repair.

Because of the fact that these rims are a genuine split rim, i was wondering if a replacement rim could be sourced.

If anyone knows somewhere that these can be got, any pointers would be appreciated.

Cheers

Mick

Have a look at www.nengun.com

Without knowing the model, difficult to know whether it is still a current wheel or not.

Cheers Nick

I'll check it out. Hopefully i'll be able to get just the outer rim itself. The spokes are not damaged and they are genuine split rims so i presume you can get the outer seperately.

Need help

Right,

I've been looking around various sites with no joy. The wheel i'm looking for is a "Rays VRX Prize". I'm thinking that the wheel is gone out of production because i can't find it anywhere. What i was thinking though is that i could replace the rim as i think the spokes are fine. The wheel is 8" wide and it is 17" diameter. I presume that Rays can supply replacement rims for any wheel that they manufacture(d). Otherwise there would be alot of people with dodgy wheels.

Please, please any help would be appreciated.

this is a common problem for anyone with out of production wheels....

What i've seen some people do it either use the good ones as drift wheels, or buy 2 new wheels of a slightly different style...

not much help i know. you could maybe try to find someone who speaks japanese and ask them to call/email rays and see how far you can get?

Maybe worth an approach to http://www.prospec-ms.co.uk/ as they are official Rays importers....

worth a try, could not find a email contact so snail mail would be best option.
