Looking good buddy. Mine has head gasket gone now so no rush with my polished parts!! LOL

Will be popping on a similar thread as the head gasket going gives me a good excuse to go full on with engine so we could be having a good race in the future!

Keep it up bud!!

Ahh it was the head gasket then, thought the white smoke you mentioned sounded suspect. Dont worry mate it'll be back in no time! What else do you have planned then? Ha ha, i need to run mine in for 1000 miles and get used to it before i start racing it again, i have been in a 1.4 golf for the last 18 months so it will take some getting used to! Pm sent about your parts, cheers matey!

Right some more updates....

While Weston Performance were building the rest of the engine, i decided to take my engine parts home for a bit of a face lift. As some of you may know, i'm a dab hand at making metal shiny.

So it would be rude not to give my own parts the treatment, i eventually found the time to treat my self to some shiny bits, so as Darren-mac correctly guessed....

Engine covers and boost pipes

Apexi elbows also saw some action

And the standard gtr brace wasn’t left out either as that was starting to look a bit grubby and sorry for its self - i just like the shiny bolts, lol.

Engine complete

Now just got to get it in the car and running, oil cooler and defi gauges fitted and car set up to be ran in. It will then be collected by my self and ran in, first time it will have been driven in 18 months. Wont take me long to run it in, then its back to Westons for some fresh oil and a re-map for some boost and we can see what she pulls like More updates to follow very soon....
