Newsgroups tend to be a lot faster and better, plus i link to an encrypted server,so not to be seen used torrents for years but got into newsgroups a month or so ago, and found they were much better. Got upto 3.5 meg download speed on torrents anything between 42kbs to 1 meg on torrents.....

ive seen some good speeds on torrent sites but only on recent uploads on older stuff its slow but on news groups even the older stuff downloads fast.
Isnt there normally a fee for news groups tho not used them in a while ?

Thanks for the info guys. Yeh I paid £10 lifetime member on nzbmatrix, lasted a month till they shut down, lol . I've never seen 5 meg from torrent, unless you pay for sponsored link.
