Rolling road day at Power Engineering 21.01.06

Thought i'd start a fresh thread!!!...................

What a cracking day!!.....well done to Yodi and all those involved in the arranging and well down to those who came down.......

Weather was good despite a chill in the air........which on the other hand did help the cars!

Think around 40 cars turned up and around 25 ran on the rollers.......will wait for Yodi to give us some exact numbers.

Good figures all round really from what i could see.........didnt see anyone disapointed after there run..........except me!!!!!........... my car kept having injector and boost problems and so only managed 490bhp with 406ft/lb torque (on 5 cylinders!)........managed to blag a second run right at the end but still had the same problem despite driving fine on the road!!!..............will keep you guys posted on what it makes once the injectors and the boost are all sorted..........

Look forward to seeing some pics and video footage!!

Was a wicked day! I didn't actaully get to run, due to "overheating problems" shall we say..... but had a great time and met some nutters!

Thanks to Yodi for organising - top bloke!

Big shout to Alex for representing the R32 Crew in the only other GTST, the man got style when it comes to modifying!

For those who were worried - made it home safe, i'm off to fit the radiator fan.......

Great day it was and a big thanks to Yodi for the arrangement...

However, don't get me wrong, I still have a big question mark tho on their dyno (although I know everyone's dyno differ from one to another) but speaking to some big power boys, what they had before was a big difference to what they have today (I mean by quite a bit)

Bubbles had to pay to entertain us which I feel quite sorry for (lol) due to their 2WD only capable of 400 bhp

Saying that the free refreshments and bacon roll were spot on

Well done everyone....

What a great day, well done to Yodi for organising the event and also well done to those that came out to play

Even the sun came out, although it was a bit cold outside.

It was a bit of a dissapointment that the rollers could only measure up to 400bhp on the rear wheel drive cars, so I didn't get a power figure, although the 391lbs torque looks about right from a previous RR graph.

One good thing from my power run was that I discovered a boost leak from a dodgy Jubilee clip on the hose onto the throttle body. I could see water hissing out of the joint If it wasn't for the water injection, I would never have known.

Thanks also to Chris & the other guys @ Power Engineering for putting up with us and for the free grub

Oh and sorry Chris for burning the paint off your rolling road with my screamer pipe

Thanks Yodi for organising this.

First meeting of the year and it was a good gathering even though
it was a bit on the cold side. Keep having to stand by the heater to
warm myself.

Not the power i expected, (about 100 down from the last one) but it was
enjoyable which is the main thing.
