Turbo expert needed
I have been offered this turbo cheap, its a Rayjay T4 Hybrid
Its a RAJAY model no 301E80 it has a .8 AR its like a T4 hybrid
The wastegate is a Roto-master Mod No 225-112B-15V
The turbo was fitted on a car for a while, then re-conditioned and never run since.
Anyone know if it will work, fitting wise, or anything about it power wise ??
thanks

the standard manifold is t3 as far as i know, to run this i would say your going to need a top mount manifold with a ake of for the wastegate then you'll need to get someone to knock you up the downpipe section as well, thats about as much i can tell you.

Many thanks, someone else has since told me that they are not very efficient turbos and are hard to get spares or repaired.
Also very poor spool up capability....so i wont be going for it
Ivor
i really want to know what the Garrett version of the HKS 2835 is can you help here.

2835 is what is going on mine next month hopefully it's a direct replacement and has a good spool up time if you buy the kit from nengun you get everything you need. I'm also getting a set of pon cams and hoping to break the 400bhp barrier the full turbo kit costs around £1200 and takes a couple of weeks to get here

the cams are 256 duration with 8.5mm lift this is as far as you can realistically go without loosing your nvcs.
It's really upto to personal choice as to wether you want cams or not i'm getting mine because i want to increase the torque of the engine
Ian once i get the kit i'll photograph it and post up before i have the work carried out i want. Andy at sp will be fitting it for me and he reckons there an easy fit
