Getting a stone chip in my new carbon splitter

I s'pose it was inevitable this would happen eventually, but I'm still seething about finding a 'little fingernail' sized chip on the front of my new front splitter. Almost wish I'd gone for a fiberglass version now as at least it could be repaired.
