Ebayers pulling out of a sale

It really ****ing pisses me off when you bid on something and win the auction for a good price and then lo and behold, you get a message from the seller saying that the item 'sold last night' off of eBay.

If you don't like the price it sold for, put a ****ing reserve you twat!

Yeah I've had that.

Or they end the item early saying there was an error in the listing and list the exact same item with no changes

What was the item they were selling, give us a link.

Done that recently - had a buyer outside of eBay so removed the item so nobody on eBay hit buy it now and was disappointed. Buyer fell through so had to relist. So can be because of genuine reasons, although not sure I used error in listing reason

I'm running all my stuff as buy it nows though so not removing them when the auction doesn't go high enough or anything like that

Haha, this was a private seller actually.

Although I have experienced the same thing with the above company too.

Oh yeah did notice those *******s doing that. Was looking at a fuel rail as I just wanted the parts from the kit and it was on an auction listing, but they kept finishing the listing early and then re-listing. Pain in the ass
