Who knows, might be up for it. Always wanted to do Spa but haven´t had the chance yet. Also there is always a good excuse to drive over to Belgium as the wife would probably buy LOTS of chocolate there - LOL

Do they have a lot of open track days like the Nurburgring?

And what´s price for some track fun at Spa?

It's normally around £350-390 I think. I also thought they'd closed the track to trackdays? Sure I read that on PH on something.......this could be tempting.

I might go later in the year a few months after my baby is born if I can talk the wife into letting me go.

Spa would be great, sounds like a costly trip though compared to the ring (Obviously depending on how many laps you do at the ring 12 laps is approx £300 now and would be unlikely to do that many in a day)

We will see, will contact MLR they book the whole track every year for one day....

they always have about 50 people that they can invite extra becouse they have not enough members to fill the whole track...

its about 70 to 75 miles from spa to nurburg
would be great fun but expensive to combine both in a weekend

I appreciate it would be a different day I was just comparing the cost. We know the ring is expensive but in comparison to Spa I believe it would actually be cheaper on the daily basis as discussed above.

For me I would rather do the extra 70 miles and go to the ring for the cost

I suppose the advantage with the Ring is you can do as much or as little time on track as you want, where as SPA you've got that one day to squeze as much in, and if you don't do many laps it'll be expensive.

The flip side is if you wanna do hundreds of laps, it would certainly make it cheaper, plus obviously not as far to travel to.
