2009 Tokyo autosalon

would anyone want to go there as a group from here??

http://www.e-autosalon.net/tokyo/english/index.html

closest and cheapest hotel is about 50 per night for a single. you would need to land at Narita airport and its a short ride from there to Chiba Perfecture where the show is located.

virgin non stop to japan is 758 approx, in economy class.

https://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/g...itineraryId=42

this would give you time to go to the show itself and possibly to Daikoku at night where people congregate and also to maybe a tuning shop or two depending on location and time etc...or maybe just go to tokyo to shop!
