turbo has shhat itself NOW WITH PICS

moving swiftly home this afternoon car goes all fluffy on the throttle then i notice -8 psi on the gauge then look in the rear view mirror and more smoke than a dope factory so new turbo time by the looks of things but cant afford new clutch or injectors so im think just getting a standard rebuild but steel internals, anyone done this ? any idea on price

I'm just putting a RSP steel turbo on. Would have had it on today if i hadn't had 5 snapped studs.

The one I took off is still good if you need that for a stop gap.

I take it your not missing a load of bits from the compressor wheel side as well? Its alot better to have go down the exhaust than through the inlet side thats for sure.

Nice one Jay you managed to break it then judging by the lack of bits in the back end of the turbo!!
