What engine oil?

Hello everybody,
What engine oil do you recommend for 1993 GTS-t 2.5, think I'm due a service soon and would like to make sure I get the right stuff.
Cheers

Please use the search. This has been discussed time and time again.

i tried the search and the links below and here's the digest ...

must be a good fully synthetic. castrol, millers, mobil, silkolene, motul etc. People here use a range of weights - 5w40,10w40,10w60,15w50

afaik factory spec is 7.5w30 but i dont think anyone actually uses that

by and large the higher oil temps you run the bigger the numbers you want... so

15w50 more for hot weather/trackday/high power use
10w40 more for cooler weather/road use
