What's your fave Skyline R33 colour?

As the title says really.

I'm planning the cars revamp for next year, due to a mishap etc, and I'm thinking of totally respraying the car.

Thing is I can't decide on a colour. I'm not wanting anything too flamboyant, but a nice rich classy colour would be nice.

The car is currently KR3, but its faded about 2/3 shades as its 17years old.

I really like silvers and gunmetal colours, but could be seen as a bit boring or bland. Definately no greens.

What suggestions do you have. (Midnight purple 3 is too expensive, I've checked) lol

White was my favourite but after attending many shows you realise how many others there are the same which was why I opted for blue.

F1carbon have recently done an R33 in the graphite grey used on the R35. Really nice looking.

Not a fan of bayside blue on 33s, but Lexus do a nice dark blue with a pearl.

Midnight Purple 2 is just the most awesome colour, but its too expensive.

Mark. Are you mad? Lol if I had a TVR flip colour it would be an open invitation for some scumbag scrote to key the thing, especially round my area.

It would be nice but too much hassle.

I've not really seen many blue 33's in up close. I suppose bayside blue would look really nice too.

Black is out of the question. Love black cars when they are clean, but I've owned a black car before and it drove me mad. Can't Keep'em clean.

Red is a good colour. I loved Marknjayne's Super Red GTR. It's my fave non metallic colour so far.

That's really nice

My gts has wheels with a stainless lip and anthracite centres, so would suit the red.

I think blue has to be the "right blue" for me. Only seen the LM blue on a 33. Thats a good colour that suits it.

Totally agree, Nova, is your LM blue the same as the one used on the 370z? As I thought that was just a base blue, but on closer inspection its a pearl!

Why not keep the car silver, but choose a different one. I've alway thought the silvers used on Japanese cars to be a bit dull, they just don't seem to pop in the sun. My first car was a G reg escort in stratos silver. I loved it, and it always looked clean and fresh. BMW do a nice silver too.

Yeah it's an option buddy.

I do like the R35 GTR grey, not sure it its too dark? I do like the existing colour alot, but I thought I change maybe good.

I have thought of a wrap but the paint work on the rear is shoddy and would have to be sorted out 1st. Might aswell just paint it tbh.

So.. LM Blue, Super Red, existing colour... Hmmm lol
