Some info needed pls

Basically, a couple of my mates are arguing about whether or not Nissan ever produced a 1.6 Twin-Turbo Skyline. Apparantly one of them reckons his mate has just bought one.

So I've been trying to find out if they did or not. I found this website, www.jbskyline.net but couldn't find anything about a 1.6 TT.

Has anyone ever heard of a Skyline 1.6 Twin-Turbo?

Thanks

Thats what I'm starting to think though I haven't seen the car so cant comment! I've looked all over the web and couldn't find any info on a 1.6 TT.

If it was a conversion what car would they have got the engine from to fit in the Skyline?

I think its pretty safe to that in skyline form a 1600cc TT never happened, least not in the familiar incarnations, ie : GTS, GTST, GTT, GTR as found across the range/years, ie : R31, R32, R33, R44.

Lots of people take the 2.6 straight six twin turbo out and swap for a 1.6 saves on petrol.
