if i find them.......

just came home after another 14 hr shift and find my pride and joy with the rear fog lamp lying on the floor!!!!! which doughnut is gonna take the time to steal a 3.99 foglight, snap the bracket then realise he doesn't have anything to cut the wires with, and leave the bloody thing on floor!!!! thats it im moving to canada, after i've had a or six

That has got to be one of the worst pissers & sorry to hear it.
As you said for the sake of a cheap foglamp is it worth it? - similar to the kids who cause 's worth of damage trying to pinch car badges.

Is it really illegal to wire your car upto the mains at night -lol?

I reckon someone just gave it a boot mate. Sorry to hear that.

Junk it - wire up to the reversing light, you know it makes sense.
