Federal 595 RSR Tyres - Great Track day tyres?

Hi guys!

I've recently completed a blog post on Federal tyres focusing on 595 RS-R's. Comments welcome! We are a supplier of Federal tyres and I know people will think we're biased but we've been using these tyres far longer than we've sold them!

TMS Motorsport - Federal 595 Blog post

"...So on occasion were asked Are Federal 595 tyres any good? and in our opinion yes, they cannot be beaten for price vs performance. We use 595RS-Rs on the TMS Motorsport R33 Nissan Skyline GTST track car, with over 650hp to the rear wheels we need all the grip available to us! Read more on our race car project build called Project Moff

The Federal 595 RS-R is an ultra high performance E marked tyre suitable for use on the track or on the street. Designed for drivers who require flat out performance the 595 RS-R gives high levels of grip without compromising everyday driving comforts. Combining an aggressive tread pattern with a special silica compound the 595 RS-R provides higher adhesion levels and more resistance to aquaplaning to give drivers the best control for cornering, braking and accelerating.
A perfect tyre for track day use..."

I run them, I put them on when I first got the car.
For the money you can't go wrong.
Not the greatest in the wet but I didn't buy them to be anygood
In the wet.
I replaced all the tyres when I bought my stagea and changed them
Shortly after to the federal 595 rs-r.

I can't complain about them at all.

Been trying to upload a picture but I've given up, was trying all day yesterday. lol

Are you able to add some additional info Andy ?

What are you saying about those tyres, have you tried federal, tyre sizes etc. Would help others if you can share more info ?

Not on my Stagea, no wet settings to change. Id say they need warming up
More and they become a lot better.
Id recommend and have to people, they are a great looking tyre and do exactly what I need them for. They maybe a little over kill for a Stagea but they look great on my staggered gramlights.

SOs for the late reply Moff.
