Rb25det maf issue

Have an issue with my rb25det r32. It starts and runs fine but after a while just shuts off. Have targeted afm as being the issue, as usually when the car is running and i wiggle the connector the car shuts off. I have tried a new maf and checked the wiring but still no go. Only when the maf is held at a certain position will it stop being problematic for a while and then starts back up again after usually when the car is driven more.

If you have tried another known working MAF, and the problem persists, the next logical thing to check is the plug, sounds like it has a bad connection either to the MAF plug or the internal wiring.

As TR says, check the plug.

Get some electrical contact spray cleaner from Halfords and give it a good clean. Think i paid around £4 for a can of it last week.
