IDC (formerly Prodrift) dates for 2013

IDC Press Release
For Immediate Release

Irish Drift Championship – Event Schedule 2013.
The IDC team are proud to announce the full 2013 event calendar. This year’s championship will feature a 5 Round calendar, kicking off, and finishing in, Ireland’s most famous racing circuit, Mondello Park.

Round 1 – Mondello Park, Co. Kildare – April 19th-21st
The inaugural IDC event will take place at the hallowed Mondello Park circuit. As new machines are debuted, and new rivalries begin, the unrivalled atmosphere of the Mondello grandstand will be the place to be for this highly anticipated championship opener.
Round 2 – Punchestown Racecourse, Co. Kildare – May 24th-26th
Firm driver favourite, Punchestown Racecourse, will host the second event in the 2013 schedule. This custom-built track will yet again provide one of the biggest tests drivers will face this year, with high speed entries, very technical lines and plenty of wall rubbing to thrill both the drivers and fans in attendance.

Round 3 – Ennis, Co. Clare – June 29th/30th
Round 3 will see a return to the Ennis Speedway, the 2nd custom-built track on our event calendar. This tight and technical circuit always attracts a large crowd, and features some of the closest tandem action of the year.

Round 4 – Corrin Event Centre, Fermoy, Co. Cork – July 26th-28th
Round 4 features the 3rd and final custom-built track on the 2013 calender and see’s a return to the ever popular County Cork venue.

Round 5 – Mondello Park – September 6th-8th
The IDC’s first ever champions will be crowned in September as we round out the championship at Mondello Park. As with previous years, this event is sure to be an absolute show stopper, keeping Irish drifting centre stage across Europe and Internationally. This event never disappoints and we predict the 2013 finale will be no different.

Logging Days for the 2013 Irish Drift Championship will take place on March 30th at Mondello Park.
