Decent curry house in reading, any recommendations?

I'm on the search for a decent Indian in Reading centre, preferably near the train station that can handle up to 15people.

rather than just pluck a few numbers from google and end up with a dodgy stomach and a 3hour drive home the next morning has anyone local got any recommendations?

cheers

Andy.

None that I know of. Need to get into London for a good curry house. And that's coming from an indian.

Not a veggie but can't stand even the smell of curry! One restaurant would be too many in my book, so it is difficult to comment. Although a Google search will turn up all the nasty places with reviews I would think.

Would be interested in this as my company is about to move into the tall building across from the station.

Righty ho boys,

I'm in Reading these days. Still got the car although she's laid up for a bit.

As far as Indians go, you can always come up to Emmer Green. We have the Raj Tandoori here and its literally across from my pub. wink wink. Great guys too and great food aswell. Its about 10 - 12 mins by cab from the station. 0118 946 2374

If you need a takeaway indian then you cannot beat the
Caversham Tandoori @ 15 Prospect Street, Reading RG4 8JB - 0118 947 4867
Best Indian I've had south of Birmingham.
