and this is a shock to you?

Emerica and their Emericaisims...... It's the land of opportunity, there's no opportunity for an Emerican to get rich on that car, or anyother high MPG vehicle.

Emerica, land of the profiteers!

It's not a credible blog source. Just google 300mpg car, they show that it's being developed but this blog has so many inaccuracies. There's already some in the us and it's only 200 models not 2000 and they cost 150000 not 60000... So many problems with that article.

I thought it might be an interesting talking point, but if all you guys want to do is slate it for inaccuracy's...... then I wasted my time.
I think the main point was that the technology has existed for some time yet there are the major fuel companies that are not happy with the motor industry trying to curb its profits, there are equally efficient alternative fuels and engines that have been around for a number of years also.

Similar situation with hydrogen etc, oil companies buy out all the designs then nothing comes to the market. People need to continue with fossil fuels, oil companies continue to make a killing.

It will change one day but cant see it happening in my life time, but interesting to see the alternatives to oil that are out there.

Once they manage to sort out the mobile storage of these alternative fuels and package them up in a consumer friendly way I can really see the like of hydrogen, methane etc taking off. Lpg is already quite widely used

My uncle made a similar mod for a car back in 1980's when the average car made like 13mpg. He used some kind of a separator system that cost him $70 to make and boosted the mpg on him camero to 76mpg which was incredible at the time. But when he went to apply for a patent he was denied by the Canadian Government and told he could not reproduce the item for anyone else or risk federal prison; as well as having his blue prints for the patent confinscated.

His truck to this day still gets amazing fuel economy (40 mpg in a 87 GMC Sierra v8) but he won't show me his secret this post sort of screamed at me when I saw 300 mpg title and after reading the post showed me some similarity a in his system. So like you said, it's been out a while, but you'll never see it. You did peak my interest with your post tho mate.

Thanks for the read none the less.
