After 7 years ownership......

The Skyline has finally gone to her new owner.

She'll still be on the forum / facebook page as I believe the new owner is a member. I actually thought I'd be sad to hear her drive off, but I wasn't... I did enjoy the sound of the new owner booting her up the road in the damp, with nothing but wheel spin LOL

Dunlop SP 9000's really are crap tyres!

In honor of her final build stage there's this webpage which I will keep up until the domain lapses of where I built the car up to.

sad day to see the skyline move on mate

but having bough an evo 8 recently myself I honestly don't think you will look back. At the risk of being shot down by fellow Datsun owners I have to say it...... the evo is much more capable car, insanely planted in the corners and the acceleration compared to the r33 gtst is incredible.

I'm comparing a standard MR FQ340 to my fairly highly tuned Gtst when I say that

I know what you are saying, this EVO is incredible and I do not regret letting it go or miss my skyline..... 7 years is a long time to have the same car.

I'm loving the economy I'm getting with the evo, and that's no joke... much more economical than the R33 around town! The power delivery is so smooth and linear... unlike the skyline, which was...... wait....... wait....... wait...... Oh SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT Hold ONNNNNNNNNN!

The Evo's also a couple of 100kg lighter as well, and does not suffer skyline tax, which is a big bonus on it's own!
