well well well!

What a fantastic weekend and meet!

We couldn't have planned it any better we had wall to wall sunshine and clear blue skies!
No crashes and no real car trouble from anyone (except my James bond style oil release can! )

Thanks to everyone who showed up nice to meet even more new people etc
we had a decent amount of us - enough so that the marshal people came and thanked ME for getting the skylineowners club there!?! crazy

Paul you're a legend mate and crack me up nice one for staying all day
hope your have a good holiday this week and not getting to much hassle for delaying your holiday by one day to come along - now that's owners commitment!

one major funk up tho my interior cam which recorded the days events which we in turn stuck in every ones cars messed up somehow and we only have 5 second clips all day!
So pissed off about that you have no idea! So my being told off for drifting and 100mph slides and my mates spins etc we don't have i'm gutted about that i really am

Anyway Paul took some decent photos which I can't wait to see when he gets back and here are the ones from the people there:

http://www.mgphoto.co.uk/mp_client/p...&eventid=93587

Thanks guy's epic day it was!

and we will do a crimbo special!

Cool need to track my car

Well after watching every one else track their cars and come back to the pits with grins like chesire cats, I have decided to track mine and share the grins etc....

yes It may get broken but it can always be rebuilt and watching you guys blast round the track and see the looks on your faces as you recounted the many stories about how you alled killed a ferrari or bmw etc is just to much to miss out on.....

I have spoken to the Mrs and shes so cool with it..... so heres the plan...

So I dont kill my nice wheels again, pick me up a set of 18" wheels and paint them some way out colour, i may follow Ed china ( you know who you are ) and get a decent set of tyres....

get RSp to sort out my BHP and get it set so i can have some fun....

then follow you guys to the next track day and have some fun.....

ummmm to drift,.... well thats another step me thinks,,,, but not out of the question....

so if anyone wants to give me some ideas on track wheels.... they have to be 18" becasue of the willwood brake conversion.....feel free.... or if you have a set to sell...

so back to the track day, I had a blast and it was so worth changing my holiday dates for, so now I am away its pouring down but at least I am not working,...

cheers again Sam for an amazing day.... next time you can take me round in your bond mobile....

Getting on track becomes SERIOUSLY addictive!!

I'd recommend just a cheap set of 18" alloys, ideally you like & 8.5 or 9j so you can run something like a 245/40/18 toyo R888 or 24/64/18 slick

Why don't you come to snetterton on dec 4th with aload of us for some passenger laps.

Yes that sounds great, will see what i am doing on the4th Dec

thanks for the tyre idea, yeah was planning on getting a cheap set and painting them to save some cash..... so is there a best size of wheels for track use..I currently have 9 1/2 J all round with 225 tyres on a bit of a stretch .

so whats the plan for the 5th and where are you travelling from..

cheers Bruce

Wink cheers bruce

Hi Bruce
will keep my eyes peeled, is there a certain set up, eg good or bad offset....that i need to look out for... or just generic 18" track wheels.... sorry for all the questions, but this is totally new to me and as usual i am seeking guidance rather than plough headrest into something i nothing about and get a crap set of wheels....

keep me posted about hullavington, would be great to see some more track action and ask a load of questions.... and see the car set up...

cheers

Cool Yeah pictures at long last..... Dubs

To all that attended the track day, including non skylines... here are the pictures that survived my computer trying to delete them.... only lost a few but they were the close ups form the track action..... wtf with technology.....

Any way here are a few good shots including Ed China`s chair ( what was your real name) ..... Dubs killing everything including a ferrari.... a dogs bollucks loooking and sounding R35 GTR whose owner was a great chap to talk to , still hate him though ..

A few pictures of mine,,,, well i was taking the pictures and to round things up a few nice pics of a spotless R32.... glad you could make it and i found out he lived in japan with his partner and then moved back to the uk and brought it with him....

Anyone enjoy and comments would be appreciated....

To start with heres Dubs......

a few group photos.....

some of my Skyline.... no track action but that will now be changing.... and its all your fault... Sam and Ed....

the very clean and tidy R32.....

and finally some track shots... with Sam heading out to start ....

hope you enjoyed.....

see you at the next meet.
