R33 GT-R to R34 GT-R Conversion

If I purchased a R33, legally imported and made street legal, how far can I tweak it towards a R34 before it's illegal?

I'm talking as big as engine swaps, body work, and as small as headlight conversions.

Additionally, you'd probably spend roughly $30k or more out of pocket to import and legally Federalize an R33 and you're talking spending another 5 figures on modifying it to look like something else?

Well only Motorex can import R33's since they were the only RI to go through the crash testing and hold the testing results. Since they're out of business, you'd have to buy one in the US already done by them.
