R32 RB26

Just bought an R32 RB26 front clip! Real excited to start messing with it. I'm prepared to swap out the Crank; however I would like to know what year RB I have, the clip has no year on it.. Is there anyway to tell? Maybe I won't need to swap out the crank.

Looking for electric fans also. If anyone in SoCal has any I'm interested in purchasing

Plenum side behind the alternator.

There is an engine number there.

Give me. I can tell you the car its out of and the year of the motor.

Why are you swapping out the crank?

Also, if you still have the firewall you should have a blue plate with a serial number....BNR01234567.

You can use that serial/vin number to look up the year and month of production...mine is BNR009193....which is the 9,193 R32 GTR built, which was June 1990.

Just make sure to check the engine's health first before anything. Because remember some are 1989 and have been to quite a lot of battles. ;) Last thing we need is another rant about "unexpected" engine problems. hehe

I think he plans to swap the crank shaft if he has the early RB26 with shorter collar drive.

But the upside on early RB26s... it was to have stronger blocks compared to the late ones.
