Suction Kits

Hello all, new GTR owner here and I have a quick question regarding the Greddy/HKS Z32 suction kits and the Apexi one.. From what I've been able to research, the Apexi kit utilizes the stock MAFs and thus removing the need of a retune.. if I were to purchase a Z32 kit would I need to have the car retuned?

I read somewhere that it would have to be retuned with the z32 maf. You can get away with getting a z32 maf, and using a wiring specialties jumper to accommodate the wiring, if you don't want to deal with it. You should also be able to run your stock intake tube to the z32 maf and then get a bolt on cone filter adapter.
