Future Skyline Owner!

Hello all, My name is Dave and 13 years ago I had dreams of importing a 1995 R33 Gts-T that i found on the internet for 6500 USD but at that time the import costs were $11,400 not including the shipping. Fast forward to today and I have put a deposit down with Japan Partners and were searching the auctions for a skyline for me to call my own.

I just wanted to say HI and ill keep you updated on my progress. If any of you imported your skyline yourself Id be interested in hearing your stories. i am a tad bit nervous.

are you planning on registering it to drive on the roads? It has to be 25+ years old to register. Are you working around that law somehow?

I bought my car already imported but I've helped other people who imported cars themselves including a local friend who bought a Eunos Cosmo. It's not all that complicated if the exporter is doing their job right.

I put a lot of info about car importation on my blog here:
