Niab Buying R34 GT this week

Yep my budget is 6000eur max so it's non-turbo. I'm asking if you experienced skyliners could advice me on what to look at for finding/testing if theres some faults with the car I m gonna buy, RB25DE NEO?

I guess its NEO because thats what it says on engine cover.

I had a look at this manual: http://www.skyline.se/dokument/ but couldn't find this same model....The plate says: GGKBRTFR34EDA-BF--
G =2-door Coupe
GK =RB25DE, RB25DET
B =2WD + ELECTRIC SUPER HlCAS
R =Right-hand drive
T =25GT TURBO
F =5speed manual transmission
R34
E =EGI (not U=intercooler turbocharger)
D =destination
A =standard

Engine: RB25DE 2498 cc

Confusing that T letter in model ? 2.5GT is non-turbo right?
What does EGI means?

Transmission: FS5W71C/RC43 = (5sp manual with 4.3:1 final drive)

Me kicking Skylines tires looks stupid to be honest, so please give me some tips if theres some R34 typical faults or particularly brittle parts should know about?

Before buy skyline, call first to insurance company .. .when i got mine, i was shopping for long time, till get insured.

Whats the plan .. what for you going use your skyline ??

Non turbo will be fine just go to work or shop, possible get nice body kit, nice paint, .. well thats all ... you can forget for kind of racing or drifting competitions, for all that need turbo engine. To tune up non turbo skyline cost pretty expensive. suggest get turbo skyline. More options tune up.

I am living in D 15, blanch, if any queries, pm me.

I m in blanch also! would be great to see your car mate.

Insurance is OK already.

Well yes I m defo interested in drifting BUT the thing is really that I don't have more money now so I m going for atmospheric cruising for a year or so. R34 is my dream car since I saw it in 1998 so this GT should feed my hunger for a while.
Its with original body kit, imo very beautiful.

Anyway I m interested into little upgrade, like +20-30 hp should be perfect for my present needs.
