Try cleaning cam sensor and air mass sensor. If it still does it half cover air mass sensor when running I had the same thing with mine turned out ams was faulty.

When was the last time the leads were changed? That would be my next port of call after spark plugs

Rb20e engine limiting at 3000 rpm and juddering like mad

Hi I have an rb20e engine and for the past week it has been playing up. It idles ok ish as soon as you put your foot on the throttle pedal it revs up to about 2500-3000 then it acks like it has a limiter on it, it's really doing my head in. I've changed the plugs, fuel filter, and dizzy cap, I know the timing belt is fine and all of the cylinders are ok it's intermittent . It ran fine for a day or so but not very good and now it's back doing the same I really need help has anyone had this problem and what you did to fix it many thanks Adam
