hi Mate

its depending on alot critirials,
most important is the light conversion of course but the best you can do is find a skyline specialist localy and let the company do all work for you its not cheap but you safe your self alot of time... a normal guy will have alot of problems to get his car road legal i would say too expensive and some inspectors want to see the unposible.. as i told you give the car to a specialist and let him do all the work for you.. (thats how it is in germany)

registration of skylines in germany is a f*** pain in the a**.

It starts with all the parts you may have to change.
and goes on with all the expertises demanded.
Light Test, noise test, emission test...
The german tüv handles EVERY skyline as if it was build by your self and like there has never been a similiar car.

further more like dyno said- some inspectors r so f*** anoying in denieing you a legal registration... its just awful. In addition to that most of them have no real idea what is possible and what not - according to a skyline. And for gods sake, eventhough - they can do what they want to.. if they say no.. its no and u have probably try the next inspector.

And because of that awful "odyssey" you should a company let do it - they got their contacts and based on that can nearly guarantee a registration.

nowadays there are quite a few who provide good and legal registrations. it normaly takes 2500€ + X

I´ve got the plates
It was not so hard
Just wanted to say thanks to the ones that have replied, and to the others that want to bring one to Germany, that the process depends only from the presons that you find in front of you, but if you don´t want to waste time in doing it, then you will have no pride in what you drive.
If someone what more answers about it, I can point you to the right persons, just pay a lot of atention when you chose the car, more extras, more complications as normal.
About the price, it was half from what I´ve expected :P

Congrats mate, good to see you´re on the road and on full boost!

I still have my R33 GTR to do. Sitting in the garage and waiting to be taken on the road.

I am still undecided whether I´ll do myself or just give it to someone to save time and hassle. I know how to get it registered, but time consuming thing, so we´ll see.

If you wanna share your info to help me decide, I´d appreciate it. Drop me a PM.

@RXXXIV

he did on the place were i did mine,and the same place were did offer u to do your car ;)

@rfp84

that is not much to say about it.

a very modified car is hard expensive and take time,a "stock" is easy quick and not that expensive.

exaust (not to loud) airfilters,brakes,wheels is not a problem.

cheers

Barros

Hellclown, this is not the correct place to ask, no. Please use the parts wanted section if you wanna ask people for parts.

Welcome to he club by the way. I´m your area rep. Introduce yourself in the Newbies section and put your details down in the german members list.

Hey buddy

Mps engineering and TJ imports can sort out the registration for German Tüv. Give them a ring in the new year.
