Exclamation Swiss Skyliner

Hi everybody !

I wanted to know if there are any known Skyliner Owner in Switzerland. I just buy a GTR33 imported from Japan to Switzerland and will take on the roads next week !

Other question: I've seen a picture with a BLUE GTR33 (or 34?) with number 300 on the plate (that's a japan's plate!!) with a HAM (amateur radio) antenna on the back - right side. How's that ?? I'm also amateur radio !

Many thanks and greetings from Switzerland !

PS: If you'll comind to Switzerland, let me know, so we'll meet !!

Marco

Welcome to the club Marco! Good to have you with us mate.

Yes, there are quite a few Skylines in Switzerland and even registered ones. Just most of them are not on here yet.

Sounds great: I could organize a weekend on Wallis/Nufenen with my girlfriend - but if there is snow I have to look how to come to Wallis, because the Nufenen pass will be closed and the road around the alps is long... Let me just know when you're coming to Switzerland and I'll organize it...

Is that the first time in Switzerland with your Skyline ?

In february 2010 I'll have work from 1th to 3th, then from 10.02 to 17.02 and from 24.02 to 28.02, so you can check a free weekend (es: 06-07.02.09 or 20-21.02.09) otherwise tell me the dates...

Greetings from Switzerland !

Marco

hey Marco,
yeah it'll be myline's first time abroad! i'll be there from the 1st-14th feb so anytime during that period should be fine so the weekend of the 6th-7th would suit us both.
I'm not sure what the weather is going to be like? but if it'll be snowy enough i'll bring my snowboard!
maybe we should just meet somewhere in sion then? because i'll have to drive through there to get any closer to you anyway? unless there is a more suitable place tht you know of?

J

YES ! YES ! YES ! Yesterday I put the car on the road... What a car ! It's simply wonderfull driving that Nissan... the highroad was really funny... A Renault Clio (tuned)came on my side and the driver looked to me as to say "wanna ride" ? I just looked him with a big smile and just gave full power... no chances for him !!! I left him behind of me in a while... ahahah... I don't know if he recognized the car... hihihi...

I wait for you all in southern Switzerland ! Just give me an email and we can organize a meeting with our beautifull japanese car !!!

Greetings from Mountains-land, the great little Switzerland

PS Now, where I work, we really have a Fast and furious team: my colleague has a Ford Mustang Bullitt and I have the Nissan Skyline... aahhh... that's something to see, one in front of the other... pictures will follow...

Trip in italy successfull

Hi everyone!

I've just made a trip on holydays with the Skyline.
I've been to Jesolo (near Venice), about 395 km go and 395 km return.
I toke the highway from Lugano to Milan and then to Venice, until Precanziol and to Jesolo. Very nice and really confortable to do long trip! I've made just 50 liters fuel for each trip. On return nice to notice: I'll meet a guy on a Subaru Impreza WRC and we'll made the return trip together like it was a bullrun! Mid speed 150 kmh, higher speed 205kmh. No radar...lucky... of course by night !!! Low traffic and clear highways ! That's so funny !

Positive experiences by travelling !

Best regards !

90mph a good cruising speed ;) of course safe at night with open highways, no silly driving when it endangers others!
130MPH top

can't wait for my drive over, it's going to be a hell of alot more comfortable that a fiesta! ugh painful!
