WTF is this?

I just logged in to see whats up and I get this:

Quote:
Hi
I have deleted your thread. You are not permitted to sell on this forum without 100 posts this includes registering interest or take orders.
I know that you are very clear on this rule.
You are also not allowed to spam your way to 100 posts just to sell.
If you attempt to do this again I will give you a warning.
Thanks
Shelley
This was in reference to my post about my wrecked skyline.
Whats funny about it is that I did make a thread (here) that pretty much is spamming and its still up. But this chick decided to kill a legitimate thread and leave the spam one up. And then tell me that she killed this one due to spamming.....

My reply to her:

Quote:
If you had read the thread you would know I wasnt trying to sell anything. I made that VERY clear that I would meet the requirement of your site, even if I didnt agree with them, BEFORE I posted a for sale thread.

Also, there was no spamming going on. All I was doing was what everyone else has done in the past. I just happen to be keeping count of my post....

I used to think this was a pretty good site. Guess I was wrong.

I have changed this message several time to make it a less offensive.

I guess, long story short.....this site is run under a dictator ship.

Give my your number and we can talk about this in person if you like. Or call me......(my number here)

Don
I'm sure this will be one of my last post on here since this will do 2 things....

1.) Last for all of 2 minutes on here
and
2.) Get me banned from this site.

So if that's what happens, its been nice knowing you. Hope you have better luck here than I did....

Firstly i'm not a chick and secondly I didn't delete your thread due to spamming, I deleted because you were taking orders to sell.
If you want me to deleted the other thread I will but then you'll have next to no posts, I think you'll find my suggestion was to get involved in the forum!

Sorry but with a name like Mrs Banter and signing your PM with Shelly, what am I supposed to think.

Second, I had not taken a single order to sell anything. I told everyone more than once that I wouldn't make any deals until the post count was met. Ask anyone on there that talked to me. I dint tell ANYONE I would sell them anything.

As for being involved in the forum, why would I want to get in there and write crap just to do it. I have been very active in watching forums, but didn't have anything to say. I could say stupid crap but decided to keep quiet instead. I have been a member of this site for over a year. That should tell you that I'm not trying to post just to post. I tried to create a legitimate thread to take care of the count. Doesn't that count for something?

The name shelley is supposed to tell you I'm a lady not a baby duck. I'm sure there are threads on here that interest you and you could get involved in, your thread started well but turned into order taking, you other thread is fine that's why it's still there. Counting down your post count event time you post doesn't help it look like your not spamming to sell.
All you have to do is get involved.

Me or Mrs Banter? And help with what?

If its for me, then thanks for the offer.

If I manage to stay a member of this site and my POST COUNT goes up, then maybe someday I can part my car out....

he just lost his skyline in an accident, the least we can do is help him out, i mean if i was in that situation and lost a skyline i would be gutted and not really wanting to post drivel up in order to recoup some of my losses. Its a good rule for weeding out the scammers, but in genuine cases like these i think a discussion would be in order.

edit: you mate ( desulli )

I'm sorry but no, we have one rule for everyone and that's it. I also don't want him to post drivel because that would be spam and be deleted. All I have said is that he gets involved with the forum, if there is really nothing on here that interests him then he shouldn't be here.

This isn't going anywhere, you keep going on about banning, I don't want to ban you, I want you to get involved in the forum and then get to 100 posts. Your half way there for gods sake!

Before I say anything I really regret, I think I'll go to bed and sleep on it.
