1996 R33 will start but not idle

My R33 won't idle. It starts but will not stay running without me putting pressure on the gas pedal. Also lately it has been idleing high around 1200-1300 rpms. any ideas?

An unplugged AFM will cause it to stall, but it wont rev over around 3000rpm too.
You could try cleaning you AAC valve, that is the idle control valve
Here is a 'how to' for you

Hope that helps!

Also, a raised idle can be caused by a small vacuum leak! I have had the vacuum hose for my boost gauge pop off, it sat on about 1200rpm when that happened.
