just bought 3 months ago a gts-t r33 , great car , super fast, named all 99% great but wen it comes to drive it in the snow its a ****ing nigtmare , light snow and wet not so bad but 1 day after big snow wen the roads get slipery its just horrible, you get small engine cars passing and you drive like a twat not to crash its just not a good car for that ,( summer car def.). obv..... something happend , ok i had a small crash earlier in the autobanh driving 40 km h and the car just turn around like i was making a donut , i try to get the control back but the stearing was light as butter and all i could do was droping gears down and small brake bites , but come on 40kmh thats how slow i was driving wen i lost control , somebody forgot to clean the snow on the way to salsgitter so it was terrible , now i have a damage front bumper and a scared wife lol .. no prob. still lov my car : ) ..
well all u guys who replyed have awd system i guess because this car is not about getting used to the power or traction , its just shit in the snow , better to park up and let the spring or summer arrive.. lol
well thanks guys , its just hard to park the beast and wait months to drive it , on the other side its a good brake for upgrades witch dont require road testing . i use to own a evo maybe thats why this is a hole new world for me , some skyline owners dont like evos or scoobies but true is them cars are all year driveable and safe , so for guys like me witch didnt had enought dolars to get a gtr the gts-t (on my opinion) its absolutly great car but better to make a season insurance and stop the car on the winter , no point driving it ... but wen you get to the dry its a great car to rule the streets and murder some boy racers..
remember its not the car is the driver lol.. imao (well said)
even if i learn it , i bet i cant drive it to the snow track in this wheather conditions , even if you are really proud of your car , secure of your driving skills , lets face it the skyline on this wheather of germany right now its a ****ing nightmare to drive or even control it.. get a run around winter car not to damage the preciouse.. lol
Were you using summer tires or proper wintertires? Here in finland quite many Skyline owner use their Skyline in winter and only problem which i've heard is where get engineheater so you don't have to start fully cold engine in -20 or -30 degeers celsius. I have a Gts-t but haven't driven it on snow because it was cheaper to buy 350 euro car with studded tires instead of paying 900euros for new studded tires for Skyline.
wow...you're in winter tires and find it undriveable???weird!! suspension too hard maybe? or maybe you went on black ice...
i hope you don't drive it like you were driving the evo....you just can't compare 2wd and awd
it seems you should have bough a GTR...all year fun!!
that video example its not called driving mate, thats drifting on a remote place , i invite you to come around and drive my car in the snow, the stearing is too light and you get no traction at all mate, nothing rong with the car, the driver its not bad , start in 2 gear slow with the feet on the power and still dont go or it will on sideways all the time , plus that r32 looks like a gtr 1
