Single 'ding' sound on start up?

I feel stupid asking this but after a quick search and asking other people I couldnt find the answer... So, when you start up your Tree Fitty GT, after about 5-10 seconds it makes a ding sound. What does this ding mean!?! lol - It also dims the music for a split second just to do it aswell.

Just wondering about the manual vs auto, but maybe that doesn't matter. From what I understand it sort of normal I guess. It might have something to do with the timing chain and the tensioners though. I had my timing gear assembly replaced at the same time as my clutch and flywheel, which the flywheel teeth had some wear. I don't have the "single ding" sound anymore now. The research I read a while made it sound like it was normal though.

Its an odd one, never had any kind of ding on my manual, other than the annoying key in lock and door open chime, which I never could find a way to disable despite studying the manual, I believe the "ding" is either in the dash cluster, or buried deep in the dash but I couldn't find it.

So it looks like its only Autos that do it?

If so will have a look next time I'm out in it, might coincide with the A/T check light going out, if it does looks like its just a ding to say all ok.

It is a mystery indeed.....
I timed it today and it takes about 40 seconds after ignition in auto or tiptronic,
So all lights on dash had disappeared, seatbelt was on,footbrake was off, so it definitely isn't a warning of any kind.
It doesn't worry me but I'm very curious about it now.....
