The slip control has no sensor that will react to worn dampers, other than the yaw sensor, are you talking about the light coming on while cornering or just when maneuvering?
What do you mean by dips? is there excessive body roll when cornering or braking?

Worn dampers will make it feel unstable at speed, especially with direction changes.

slip and body roll

Might be worth checking the front control arm and anti-roll bar bushes and connections for anything worn or loose.

Also I had a similar problem with slip light coming on while cornering, did a steering angle reset with NDS and it hasn't happened since, could be worth a try too.
