Hey so did you ever get into contact with Motordyne? I usually get a reply just by emailing them off of their site. Are you looking to buy or are you just having an issue with a Motordyne product?

Hey ye I got a email different to their site from Tarmac sportz via the 350z forum. No problem i wanted to get a shopping quote for the tax shockwave as the link on their page wasn't working for me. Turns out Torqen can get it to me cheapest though

Are you looking to get the TDX2 Shockwave? The ART decat pipes too? Just wondering why that particular exhaust?

Yes I am after the shockwave. I liked the sound best from what heard but of course our cars being so rare in the UK everything I've listened to has been at the mercy of YouTube. But then I recently heard some people say it's too loud and makes you feel really conscious of your driving so I'm back to considering an invidia Gemini which is my second choice. I'll be running it with the Berks hfc I've already got on so I guess It wouldn't sound too loud though ??

I just don't know

Oh ok...I understand. I was one of the people talking about the shockwave as I have the full TDX2 shockwave with the ART V3 de-cat pipes. I said it was a bit loud for me, but that's because I was used to everything being quiet. Also, I'm supercharged as well, but I'm not sure if that would make a difference or not. I've heard the Invidia Gemini as well since a friend had one on his car. I remember thinking it sounded good, but I think everyone's idea of loud or what sounds good is different. I live around the Cambridge area. How far away is that from you as maybe we could meet up so you could listen to what the motordyne exhaust sounds like in person?

I'm in Surrey near Croydon so probably about 2hrs drive! I heard the art pipes do make a massive difference in sound though?

Oh I would have know that we could have met up last weekend. I was at the Wings and Wheels show on 31 Aug which was in Dunsfold. Anyway, I ran a TDX2 with cats and in opinion, when I put the ART pipes on I felt as though it was a bit quieter actually. I would imagine on an OEM exhaust with de cat pipes that it would be noticeably louder, but with the TDX2 it seemed quieter than my standard cats. Just my opinion though.

I was in Glasgow! We're not destined to meet . Really, quieter? Intriguing. I think I'm just gonna get it, if I don't like I guess I can sell it and still get the invidia with the money (I know how crazy I sound)
