Auto Shift Lock Problem

Has anyone else had any issues with there 350GT Auto getting stuck in park?

I have read online on USA forums that this could indicate a blown fuse controlling the solonoid; however the issue with my car is intermittent and this makes me think something else could be at fault.

Basically when i press the brake peddle sometimes the shift lock works and you hear a clicking noise and other times it does not. I have found myself having to wiggle the gear lever and pressing the brake peddle many times over before it works.

Any ideas before i drop it in somewhere for a look.

many thanks

Sorry I am not failure with the AT box, I would start by checking the related wiring and switches/solenoids.

I host a copy of the 350GT manual here, https://www.skylineowners.com/forum/2...ce-manual.html

When I bought mine I was told if that happens then there's a tiny slot at the front of the shifter that you poke something down into and that releases it, can't remember specifics but it's worth a punt. I didn't think there were any electronics controlling that anyway it's a cable between the brake pedal and shifter isn't it?
