Postman Pat's Weekend Toy

Bit of brief spec, it's a custom-built tube chassis with a 500cc Motorcross engine and nitrous, also features a wheelie bar and a half size parachute. It runs a quarter mile in 13.6 at 93mph without using the nitrous!

Looks like it in the pics but the nitrous hasn't been used yet. Could well just have been mounted that way for the pics so that the label is the right way up, I'd have to ask the owner

I assume from your comment it's not supposed to be mounted that way up?

Valve end should be higher than the ass end because it has a dip tube in it bud, everything else is fine!

Just spoken to the owner & apparently the bottle doesn't have a dip tube

Quote:
guys at WoN gave us the valve without the dip tube, So the valve itself is reachable from where the driver is when hes all harnessed up

In that case the bottle is the wrong way around...under acceleration the liquid will tend to move to the rear of the bottle and away from the valve.

He needs to reverse the bottle so the valve points to the back of the car and is lower than the ass end which makes no sense if he wants it within reach...it would be far better to have a dip tube and have the valve end sitting higher
