headlamps

hi guys

clean my car up trying to get the paint work looking good ,well on the way but noticed my headlamps are stained dulled ,seen on youtube a video on restoring them using sanding pads ,any one done this to there lights? or have any techniques for restoring them ?

Do a search mate.... cleaning the headlights has come up many times before. You should find threads with proven techniques for making your headlights look new

I did all the usual ways of headlight refurb and none worked for very long, did the below guide and they came up sparkling

i clean mine with 2500 grit then 3000 grit, dry it off then use a heavy compound and buff out the fine scratches then use a bit of polish to shine up, scary thought at 1st but after a few cars its a doddle, just watch those wings when sanding
