so.com postal service

Ok on the gtouk this runs exerlant.

Say some one buys a part (Rear Diff) off a member who is in the south, and the buyer lives in Manchester, well the buyer instead of sorting out carrage at a fortune etc for said item he posts on here in dedicated section were part is, and one of the local members down there picks it up he then can arrange for either him to meet the member who has got it half way or pass it up the country from member to member untill it reaches its destination. Thus keeping cost down members active and people meeting each other etc

For instance I can do around north manchester Bolton Bury Radcliffe etc and meet someone south manchester or preston way to pass part on to who ever may have bought it.

Dann

rules from gtouk might make it easier to understand than my dribble

To make it easy for people to use the GTOUK postal service, we have added the Postal Service section to the forum. If you have anything you wish to move from one side of the country to the other but don't trust the Post Orifice/Parcel Farce/etc, then post up in this section and hopefully someone will be going your way....

Also, if you make a regular journey or are planning a one-off and want to help feel free to add a thread with the appropriate details (where, when, etc).

Please remember those who carry your goods all have full time jobs, and their own lives to be getting on with, so your stuff will travel at their convenience. If you need it sent or delivered tomorrow, then i'm afraid you need to ring a proper courier Wink .

Only Full Members can use the Postal Service.

Threads that have been inactive for over 6 weeks will be removed.

Cheers

Huumm i dont like the sound of that....its petrol for people out of there own pocket for benifit of there own plus....no offence but if ive paid for something i wouldnt trust someone else to pick it up and risk them damaging it, or it going missing!!!

Imo we dont need this! This club is good as it is and people on here are already more than helpful! Now Im little far away from you guys in UK, but if I was closer, Im sure people would not hesitate to pick any part up for me if I asked them. Same the other way round!
