stagea/four door area?

just a thought, the "about 4 door" thread is getting huge, and i wondered if we could have an area for stagea/saloons so that nayone looking for info can sort through whats on here without waiding through heaps of old discusion?

i dont know of anyone else in the uk that has an r33 gts4 saloon? it would be nice to have a section where this type specifioc info might be colated?

The engine is the same though right?? S othe only difference is the fact it has four doors so body kits will be an issue. Don't think that warrants it's own section to be honest.

There is more difference between the R32, R33, R34 etc, but we don't have specific areas for that. Just looking at this from a practical point of view, but I'm open to your side of the argument.

Cheers.

not all the way down in exeter, unless the wifes not telling me something????

Lenny ill admit that the engines are the same, so techincal info there will easily cross reference. the thing that made me sugest it is the size of the "about 4 doors" thread. that is currently where any info Chiba kun, other 4 doors owners and myself, have found is posted. but its buried under alot of chat and the thread is getting huge.

Also in the course of my research ive not found any definative answers with regards to suspension set up. mine is a bit of an oddity as its both 4 door, so may need saloon suspension, but also 4wd so does it need the gtr type? the recently aranged group buy for antiroll bars is a perfect example. im lead to beleive by some that the coupe ones would fit but no one is certain, plus whiteline say they dont make a kit for the 4 door.

all in all whilst i admit that this may be a small section in terms of numbers, isnt that the whole point? we, as in the forum, exist in part as a resource for information on the skyline, so its logical to assume if someone ends up with a rare/odd model then they would hope to find some info here?

i know ive also asked for a naturally asperated section, ala the aussie site, and my reasoning for this is the same. if some one with an unusual varient of the skyline were to come on here and search for information, any info is curently burried within large numbers of unrelated topics. thus they potentiall seek their info else where and we may loose a member.

i just think catering for this "niche" of the skyline world would help this not only myself but the forum.

perhaps having a jont stagea/saloon section might increase the numbers of users and make it worth while? it just seems that, haviong been searching of late on the other skyline forums in OZ and UK, when i come back on here the deliniation of topics and car types is a lot broader leading to along time searching sometimes with no result.

(as fas as I know) there are three R33 saloons in here, of which two GTS4.

A black one fitted with RB26DETT and my one. The only other R33 GTS4 saloon I know, is your one.

I don't know how many are made, but for instance the fact my chassisnumber being quite low (5***) they must be quite rare I suppose.

I hope more R33 GTS4 owners will join this forum, so that we can get to know more about our 'mistery' cars.
