hello from MB Automotive.

as already discussed with Keith..

I should be becoming an authorised trader shortly..

i reside in 2600sqft workshop in Cambs area and provide

Full assembly of vehicles including
all aspects of fabrcation in alloy and stainless steel,
machining facilities for making small one off parts,
all mig, tig welding capabilities
small semi pro paint booth.
all aspects of engine management. (including loom manufacture and tuning)
ECU systems currently tuned are.. Haltech, Apexi PFC, Nistune, Link(G3 and G4), Omex, AEM, Emerald.
i have vast experence with the LinkG4 series(also known as Vipec), Apexi PFC, Nistune and AEM.
my mapping experience is currently 7years which started on AEM..
the weapon of choice currently is the Link G4 series of ecu.. purely because of the ecu capabilities and great value for money..( these ecus run my own car, the RX7 and supra mentioned below)

i currently sponser a Drag team for fabrication and engine management. this is the RXmotors RX7, (currently fastest rx7 in europe and most powerful 2rotor @ 800whp)
check the car on youtube!! search "impey RX7" etc

currently building a 1000Rwhp supra for a member of mkivsupra.net.

have my own work in progress rb25 build. (500whp)

i usually work around the clock.. and am always available, should hopefully be making some helpful contributions to the technical forum about the more tricky engine managment dilemmas..

Any questions, please feel free to ask... Advice is free.!

Thanks for reading..

as controversial as it may seem... race cars or road cars that are too powerful for road tuning are cars that visit the dyno. for example the RxMotors RX7.(not road legal) needed dyno time to lay down a base tune.. (800whp)
for me road cars get tuned where they are used 100% of the time.. the road..
personally im not interested in numbers, from experience you can see if a motor is making the correct power from fuel flow. again for me tuning is about obtaining best response, minimising lag and giving best punch along with safety and longevity of the motor, alongside good fuel economy and clean cold starts/ driveability..
the average joe (like me and you etc) cannot tell the difference in 10whp so why risk the diminished safety factor of that extra 2%..
there is little merit in tuning customers cars to the ragged edge.. that is unless every last hp counts. (competition)

if i need to use a dyno i have used a couple of fairly local ones to myself.. but favourite at present is the Dastek @ Zen performance.
