Bruce-m · Administrator Joined Jun 3, 2005 · 14,725 Posts #4 • Jul 29, 2007 Check this link http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp It recommends no bigger than a 225/40 on my 7.5j alloys yet i run 235's fine and i've had 245/35's on them before which were fine but wouldnt go more. So i'd say you can definately run at least a 265/35 on a 8.5j alloy
