.... my first ever bloody puncture!!

so i get the spacesaver out to find no jack or spanners to get the volks off!!

i ring the previous owner and confirms both items are missing.

so i rang my mate who had to come cross country to lend me his scissor jack and luckily he had a slim emough socket the get the nuts off.

i then notice the lovely gash marks left by the 3 enthusiastic boys at thurrock services 1 hour previous trying to remove the bloody GTR badge!!

i then had to travel 60 miles at 40KPH ( took 3 hours )

That space-saver is a good look..

..you should get hold of 3 more!

I have a spare scissor jack you can have. Surrey is a bit of a trek from where you are tho.

You would have been alright driving home on that, it's only flat at the bottom.

Lucky your space saver fitted - I had the same thing, over sized calipers meant my space saver wouldn't even go on - as it happens the AA where great and fied the puncture!!!

The trick with this is you need to go really fast - so that the flat bit gets to the top - then you sorted. :boogy:

But besides that .... VERY stunning car ... Looks awesome in black....!

if only.....

2 new bridgestones on now :D

two more tomorrow aswell :(

i also found out the front left wheel has only 4 nuts.

thats beacause it only has 4 1/4 threads!!!

the middle of one is drilled out and starting to break away like a rotten tooth!!

luckily my local race rally centre had 4 nuts.

now i just need to source a new wheel bolt.... any idea's?

thanks for all the comments too guys, it makes it worth keeping it lol.

un****ing believeable, i read this thread earlier and thought poor guy. I go to get in my car just now to go to work and the front drivers side is totally flat. Nail straight through the middle so its not quite as bad. Garage round the corner are fixing now. Feel for you mate.
