This is something I've wanted to do for ages and always missed out on through worl or been busy with track days etc, so my plan for around September/October (give plenty of time to save) is to run our own European road trip.

The route will go from Dover to the nurburgring for a bit of track fun.

Then we will head down to Bern in switzerland for some Swiss Alps road driving and going along the San Bernardino Pass which includes a 6.6km long tunnel :dogpile:

For the 4th day we will be driving on down to genova via millan, this will give us the chance to keep the women happy (kind of).

Heading on for the 5th day we will then be heading to Monaco, and give us the chance to drive the GP circuit.

Rolling onto the 6th day we will be heading upto Millau to go over the almight Millau Via duct bridge (check it out on google) although this will also include the Col De Turini pass.

After a night in Millau we then head north to tours for just some good old open road driving and mile munching.

Then from tours i thought we could head to St Malo for a day on the coast but going via Le Mans to keep the petrol head in all of us happy.

Then its a case of leaving St Malo and a drive along the coast up to Dunkirk.

Now the costs for accommodation and ferry will be ABOUT £275 per person based on two people sharing twin/double rooms.

I would also suggest budgeting for about 10 tanks of fuel as its about 2000mile trip.

The only other costs will be food and drink.

Would be well up for this as me and my friends were planning something similar but doing the ring on the way back as it's so hard on the car. Would it be ok if a couple of non skylines come with me they would be a s2000,teg, and a Scooby and I'll be in my Gtr

Until Nurburg release their dates its impossible, which won't be until feb time.

Either that or you don't do the ring.

Otherwise we could instead of the ring (with the amount of crashes there I'm not bothered) we could hit a big European show that runs drifting & time attack so we could have track time.
