well the main expense of this trip will be fuel so depending on what you get to your tank? im not 100% on the fuel prices but think france is pretty much same as here if not a touch cheaper due to exchange rate on the euro. im thinking we need a name for our trip and some stickers made??

Well total distance in Europe is 1550 miles so your have on top of that however many miles from your UK location to Dover, split that over how many miles per tank will give you a rough Idea on fuel costs.

Next is ferry @ £60, then you accmmodation, well if you work on a £15 per person you wont be far off, so that gives a rough idea.

So if I was doing it from my house in Romsey I would say £600 on fuel (8 tanks) (250 miles to a tank), £60 ferry, £210 accommodation gives a total of £870, on top would be 30 Euros for show entry + any food and drink.

If ya budget for £1100 for 2 in a car you wont be far wrong obviosuly if you had 3 or 4 in a car it's going to make things cheaper as you can split fuel, accommodation & ferry etc more ways.

Hi there Bruce, and everyone. very well done with the planing etc as I know you've got other things on,, yes me and the mrs are still coming and can't wait, are we sorting our own ferry tickets out, or is someone going to group book? Also is the camping all pay on the day??? I know now in France aside from the reflective jacket in the boot nonsense every car has to have it's own breathalyser (yes really) do you think it would be worth a post sent to all involved what we require to have with us and what, (if anything) you certainly can't take with??? Sorry can't be of more help, but my means of communication is literally a wap phone while away with work. Cheers everybody!!

If no one wants to take up the reins for this Euro trip and people still wanna do some sort of trip I'm happy to organise for anyone to join Me, Shed, Stusy, Phil etc on our final Time attack round at Zandvoort, We are heading out on the friday, will hit Amsterdam Fri, Sat and sun night, Your be able to get on the Dutch Skyline stand for the Automaxx Super sunday show which is where the Time attack is held + I believe there is some public track time at the end of the show you could all go on.

Then it's up to you whether you head back with us mon morning or maybe head on to Nurburgring etc

just a thought, i dont think you should go to the ring first as if your going to have car issues its going to to be on the track then the rest of the trip is down the drain,??...just some food for thought.
