Hi

Is it possible to have a section on having 2nd cars help section.

something along the lines of recommendations for a work horse type of car, diesel, tuning, better fuel economy.

As per recent "tunung box thread". for diesel cars.

This may be an answer for people wanting to sell there skylines due to poor economy.

2nd car is the answer :dogpile:

ive had my 02 diesel mondeo estate for ages now and love it!
its well cheap to run i can get about 88miles from 10 litres of diesel and its my daily runner - plus its pretty comfy and i can get anything in it

my skyline sits on the drive with a cover on and gets taken out when the weathers nice etc

my skyline for about 4 years was my daily runner but like most people job cuts and money and prices got so bad i couldnt afford to drive it all the time but NO WAY would i sell it! :D

plus ford are cheap to fix and all that i recommend what i have fo shizzle!

.....and this little gem which is inflicted upon you by the good people at Fiat should be everyone's first pick for a second car!

Not a bad idea mate! I can see it would be very useful to some.... I'd say there are plenty of people on here who are more than able to answer specific questions about cars that aren't Skylines too

'Daily Hack' section :bigthumb:

Nice one.

My skylark is my daily runner to work only 2 miles away so at the mo we can afford.

The misses uses our saab 1.9tid every day and we only use that @ wk ends for trips out with the kids, so 400 miles to a tank full is an obvious advantage.

Now ive fitted a £50 tuning box (which has converted the saab to a rocket ship) it should also return approx 6 miles a litre more economy (which remains to be seen)

Ill keep ya posted on the feul usage after a full tank used. :dogpile:

It's more of "welcome to the real world"

It's fine if ya minted like keef but if your mortgaged upto ya neck, kids etc... It's what will help to keep your pride and joy.

I like my whoosh so want to keep as long as possible. Lol:dogpile:
