Hi all, does anyone have any experience of the mitsubishi 3000 gt/gto.The I'm asking as my dad is interested in one and has been talking to a few mechanics at Mitsubishi but their claims seem optimistic to me,they are telling him that it's 330 bhp 0-60 in 5 secs and they are very reliable. This last claim put the cat among the pidgeons as i talked to a GTO owner at last years Billing JAE and he said his TVR was more reliable now that is saying something! If anyone has any input i'd be grateful to hear it then i can let my dad know.

Reliability wise they arent too bad, they are 280 bhp as standard
but are rather dull to drive (just my personal opinion). They do look nice enough though.

For Example:
GTO Twin Turbo Performance:
Engine: V 6 DOHC 24 valve MIVEC
Max Speed: 155 mph
Capacity: 2972 cc
Acceleration (0-60 mph): 5.6 sec
Power Output: 280 bhp / 6000 rpm
Acceleration (1/4 mile): 14.0 sec / 97.1 mph
Torque: 315 lbft / 2500 rpm Braking (60-0 mph): 119 ft
Transmission: 6 MT (4wd) Lateral Acceleration: 0.89g
MPG (city / mtwy): 18 / 24

Best look up the gto owners club GTOUK i believe.
