I'm looking at bass tubes for my GTT.

First of all will I be able to fit a tube in the narrow area underneath the parcel shelf, to save using up floor space in the boot ?

Secondly, what is the difference between Active & Non-Active. Me thinks active has an internal amp, but needs a separate power lead. Non-Active just comes off the sub-out on my head-unit and wont need a separate power lead.

Unless I'm mistaken the sub-out on a head unit is at line level, so will need a seperate amp to drive the bass speaker. Yes your right that an active speaker has an amp built into it...therefore you need a signal lead (from head unit) and a power lead from the battery. A passive speaker needs an external amp so you can site the amp anywhere you want. Either way the speaker needs an amp.
